I have had 2. One a Siamese marked cat that I still have, and one white with the blue eyes that I had for 10 years.
they can make great pets. They need to stay inside, for obvious reasons, but otherwise are fine. I stomp on the floor when I want to "call" mine. You start doing this and give them a treat ever time they come to it. He trained easily. Other than that, you would never know he was deaf. Having another cat or 2 helps. They take care of each other.
We never knew the one we have now was deaf until we had him tested!!! He just seemed to ignore us like the other cats!!!!

A lot of all white cats are deaf. I don't think that there are any real difficulties. Cats really don't like to listen to you much in the first place so I don't see how this could effect the relationship. I would recommend keeping him/her and inside cat due to the dangers of outside and being deaf could make him/her even more prone to accidents or run ins with the wrong kind of animal.

the quick answer is not any- in the adventure that they have got been deaf considering that they were born. to describe, after we dream, we are merely imagining sound. it is our mind's way of finding out what befell in the course of the day. So if a deaf individual objectives, they haven't any way of imagining what sound is even like except they have lengthy previous deaf considering that listening to in the previous. it ought to be like asking you to imagine a coloration that you've under no circumstances considered previously- no longer which includes mixtures of alternative colorings. On drugs does no longer substitute that both, because they could haven't any way, even in an altered state, of imagining what those sounds ought to be like. So sure in the adventure that they went deaf, no in the adventure that they were born deaf.

I had a deaf cat years ago and he was smart and sweet. You just have to be careful about sneaking up from behind it scares them. Other than that he was pretty normal.

white cats are often deaf. if the have blue eys thats apparently a pretty sure sign. i've never had one so i woudn't really know but i would start some training to demonstrate that the road is a very unsafe place to be, as she won't be able to hear cars. talk to your vet who should be able to recommend some stuff.
