Yes because the divinity of Christ is part of the Gospel. Only the sinless Son of God could pay the sin debt for the whole world.

Romans 1:16. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that BELEIVETH; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

You gotta beleive!

As for aborted fetuses, they were not alive long enough to sin. There is no such thing as original sin as catholics teach it, therefore an aborted fetus would not go to Hell.
A retarded person, if they had the mental capacity to understand the Gospel would not be excused.

As for people from other religions, this is how God veiws any attempts to be righteous outside of Christ.
Isaiah 64:6. But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our
righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a
leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us
away.

We are incapable of doing any good works to earn salvation only faith in Christ, the Son of God can save us.

Titus 2:11. For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.

The aborted are without sin, never having had an opportunity to sin.

The metally incompetent are without sin, as they cannot understand the difference between good and evil.

As for Ghandi, Buddha, and Mohammed, let the Bible speak:
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Like it or not, that's the Bible answer.

Yes, if you believe in Christ, you believe that He is God incarnate. Otherwise, His death would do you no good at all.
I don't see what that has to do with aborted fetuses, or retarded people? God doesn't expect more from anyone than He has given them, obviously.
"For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required" (from Luke 12:48)
Did Ghandi or Buddha hear the gospel message and reject it? I would say that their fate is up to God, not me, or you.

Good question! Here's what I know. God is perfect and Holy, and He does not tolerate sin. So, to go to Heaven you have to be perfect and without sin as well. Since no one fits that bill, and since everyone has sinned, everyone will die apart from God - which seems really unfair. Until you realize that God allows you to present a sacrificial lamb as a substitute for your death. This is an unfortunate circumstance for the sheep, and it really doesn't do enough to cleanse you of your sin, since people rarely feel guilty for any sins they commit. SO...God instituted a new covenant with man, in which He provided the perfect sacrificial lamb - that would be Jesus - who lived a perfect life, and who died a sacrificial death in your place. To prove that Jesus was who He said He was, he conquered Death with the resurrection (which is one of the best attested miracles in the Bible). All you have to do is agree with God that you have a sinful nature, ask that Jesus sacrifice cover your sin, and live your life according to the principles established by Christ. If you think about it, this is a pretty good deal, Eternal Life is available but all you have to do is ask for it.

As for Ghandi, Buddha, Confucious, and Mohammed, let me ask you...did anyone of them ever get up out of their grave? Did any of them heal the sick, cause the blind to see, or bring others back to life? As for children and the mentally deficient, God is a loving God, and He is also just. I don't think it would fit the character of God to allow those people who are incapable of understanding to go to Hell. As for adults and adolescents who are capable, and who can reason right from wrong, then they have to make that decision for themselves. Those that agree with God and accept his gift spend eternity with Him. Those people who disagree with God regarding their sinful nature, and who refuse to acknowledge the diety of Christ and accept his sacrifice, then have to live with the consequences of those decisions - which means an eternity seperated from God.

Prophet Isaiah called him Everlasting father , Mighty God,Jesus said said he is before father ABRAHAM, WHAT DO YOU THINK BECAUSE THE BIBLE SAY'S HE IS FROM EVERLASTING .You have to confess with your mouth that he died , rose from the grave and is Lord. No mentally ill people don't go to hell they have free will to i know some who have accepted Jesus and are going to heaven and they will have new bodies .

No many sects say that you need to accept Christ into your heart to be saved...What does saved mean exactly..."go to heaven"? Nah, you needn't buy into the Christ stuff...If you choose you can get to heaven through God (if there is one) directly because he/she/it needs no intermediaries. PEACE!
