What is the best way to serve Smirnoff flavored vodka? Not the malts, but the actual Twisted vodka. I have strawberry. Any simple, interesting ways to serve it?

ALSO: Is it bad to let vodka sit in the sun, get very hot, and then drink it? Does it take away the alcohol content? Just curious.

I'm not a big drinker of flavored vodkas, but this sounds like something that simply would go over ice, tall glass, with perhaps an additional strawberry on a twizler stick.

As long as your vodka is sealed, getting it hot makes no difference. Now if it was open, it might evaporate in general, and perhaps on the microscopic level you might have a little less alcohol than other liquid, but nothing that would make any overall difference to someone drinking it. It still would be 80 proof. Of course, I don't think anyone wants to drink hot vodka.

the best way to serve smirnoff flavored vodka is to take it as a long drink that is with a soft drink like coke.
letting it in the sun cant get it very hot it just continues the fermentation process hence increasing the alcoholic content.(i think)

Main rule about drinking vodka: it need be very cold! Warm vodka is terrible! Serve it with pickles, salt fish, salads under the mayo, salami...

I love it with peach schnapps and a light white riesling (wine). I do 4 parts wine, 1 part vodka, and 1 part schnapps. It is great if you let it chill in the fridge w/ fresh fruit.

Also-- mix it with 7-up over ice or with lemonaid.

down the drain would be my suggestion. why anybody decided to add FLAVOR to vodka in the first place is beyond me. a good vodka needs nothing but a glass and a few ice cubes.

sun is no issue, try cola for a strawberry kick or the twisted juices at your market some of them even have strawberry in them already, or try it with ginger ale. might even work with iced tea as well
