You don't say if you have had any trauma of late, after a traumatic event this is normal. Please consult with a counselor or doctor for medication as it sounds like depression is becoming a problem. If no traumatic event and this has been going on for awhile still consult with someone, why let it go on longer to bigger problems . There is no shame in having depression, millions of people do, the shame is not helping yourself when you need it by asking for the support you need. good Luck! Medication is a good option and might be just what you need.

You do have emotions because you are feeling low that is an emotion. I suggest you see your gp and describe the way you are feeling and also try seeing a psychotherapist or counsellor to talk thru the reasons behind your lowness.Antideppressants and talk therapy should aid in lifting your mood and help you to express your emotions freely. Try to do those things you used to enjoy even if it feels like hard work when you have gone out that will be a step in itself toward lfting your esteem. If you have children try a babysitting service such as abtot childcare or sitters which you will find online £5.50 an hour abtot will also sit for you over night. Try spending time on you on pampering yourself. lavender and lavender products are extremely calming.Hope this helps some.

I don't believe you have no emotions, afterall depression is related to sadness to at least some degree (although clinical depression isn't the same as sadness there are links) and sadness is an emotion...
I wish I could help you experience others, but the truth is its unlikely to happen in text... but that doesn't mean you can't get help, I suggest you first talk to a friend, I doubt that you don't have any, but in case your one of those people who thinks they don't, go make a new one... nothing like that for confidence building...
also don't listen to any thoughts that tell you that you aren't worthwhile because, I don't need to know anything about you to tell you that you are worth it... your obviously a sensitive person, your interest in experiencing emotions suggests that...
oh and don't expect to be successful straight away at anything you set out to do... try baby-steps first, they are usually easier and are the first things you need to do in order to walk a marathon...
Note: if none of that works please see a health professional, just don't give up on yourself, because we both know that your worth it...
I hope this helps... good luck

If you have been depressed for 2 weeks or more, make an appointment with your physician. Often there is a chemical imbalance that by simply taking medication (SSRI like paxil etc) you can correct and feel 100% better. If you are having severe depression, call you physician now. Hope you feel better.

I have bouts of depression- i've gotten a lot of advice about "how to not be" most of it was garbage... one suggestion that i liked was to do something nice for someone else. Go to the store and buy a present or a card for someone, just for the hell of it, bake something for someone, or offer to help someone with a chore. It supposedly takes your mind off of your problems, and the happiness you give to others may just put you in a good mood.

Go see your doctor. If you are depressed, there are treatments available to deal with it. Some of the treatments involve taking medicines, others involve counseling or lifestyle changes. Your first step is to see your doctor.

I'm presuming you haven't been diagnosed with clinical depression but that you just feel down today. Go for a walk. Do something physical. This will help.
If this is something that happens a lot, go see your doctor.
