In a way all the moments of this life are beautiful. Do we relish them ?

When I was a kid--a loooonnngg time ago--there was even a special feeling, what I called the Sunday feeling. There was a reverence, knowing that the day was set apart as special. Very few businesses were open on Sunday then, and there were far more church goers.

I don't think my perspective on this had anything to do with my upbringing since my folks were nominal Christians at best. I just knew the day was different from the others.

I think most of us can take the time to stop and smell the roses on Sundays, and our hearts are refreshed and rejuvenated. If fact, it's Sunday as I'm writing this. I won't be in church today--not feeling well--but my heart is at peace, and God is here.

Thanks for reminding us how special a day of rest can be.

We do not relish them when it is happening. But only after it has happened. we get to know that what happened was something special only later. Sundays are filled with peace coz you are in a relaxed frame of mind. No deadlines or no work to be done.

Sunday is not beautiful and filled with peace. It's the day before you have to go back to work, and it's filled with dread and depression.

It's the day of the Sun, and therefore, the day of natural energy and nourishment. I try to relish them when I can. I wish I had more time to do so. Blessed be.

I try to enjoy everyday and every moment. All of our days can be filled with peace if we have inner peace.

There's no plural days in Sunday, nor any darkness(sin) in the Sun of righteousness.

Plural days are found in "the days of Noe", who was a preacher of righteousness, but also a preacher of lefteousness, since he did both all God commanded and all the LORD commanded, which were as contrary as right and left, as contrary as mercy and sacrifice, as contrary as keeping seed(Christ) alive and not keeping seed alive.

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Tell that to the people in Lebanon, or Iraq, or Sudan, or Israel.

Tell it to the somebody who is homeless.

My best friend just told me his 10 year old son has Leukemia, you think he thinks today is beautiful?

Snap out of it.

Perhaps because we choose to see the peace and enjoy the day.
