One in English that a westerner can understand? I want to read it. People say it is a beautiful document. I heard this from a conservative jew actually. He said it promoted tolllerance and love. I want to read it and want advice on an addition I can understand. Can someone provide a link on amazon so I can purchase a copy?

I am not trying to be lazy. I just thought there might be a better version that was easier for a westerner to understand. I can look up a search yeah sure.

Point taken on a distored translation. I do not want that. Why bother on reading it if I get that. I just want to be able to understand it not have it distoreted. I see on amazon that they say who translated it and they are saying things like new translation. I want to be able to comprehend it, but what is this new tranlation anyway? That sets of warning signals what was wrong with the old translation anyway? Too many translations can be a problem.

I may hear it in arabic an it will probably sound beautiful, but I will not comprehend what I am hearing because I do not know arabic.

Thank all the people who suggested and advised on translation problems and other problems. I am sorry for insults you had to endure. I now understand what was meant by needing to read it in arabac. I am not reading it with the intention of distortion, but with the intention of understanding and education of culture and the world. I appreciate all the insight and telling me who to choose a translation from. I have choosen a book that has some reviews by muslims on Amazon that was referenced by one of the Answers on here. They point out that while it cannot be an exact translation and can lead to mis understanding that there are details added to try to explain this in english. It is translated along with arabic which I thought was unnecessary, but perhaps it preserves the original meaning, so I will atempt to read it.
Thank you all for your kind answers and may you and your families have all good.

Give me your postal address I can send you a copy for you to study at no cost to you, also there will be other books on Islam that you can also go through. It will be in English that you can understand.

The problem with online is that there are some copies out there that have been on purpose translated to mislead the reader, I'll send you the one that has universally accepted.

Please make sure that the copy you pick is not written by a westerner, coz most of these editions are written by non-Muslims who want to shatter the image of Islam. Try to select one that is written by an Arab, especially by a Saudi Arabian or Egyptian. You can check it out through the place of publication.

Zody, u are rude. How would others respect you when you don't respect billions and billions of people (Muslims)?
