Call a salon and ask if they have any suggestions--or you could shave it off and start all over.

Most of the time hair that is breaking at the root is in desperate need of nutrition. Hair is made up of a protein called Keratin. You can go and buy protein packs for a hair treatment at home. They can get expensive but it will help to re build your hair. The protein that I used to use on my clients was a brand called Kadus. It came in little glass viles. The best place to get keratin is a hair salon. They could even do the treatment for you.

maybe thats your problem xD quit applying chemicals onto ur hair it'll make your problem a lot worse.
If you've already tried all the products available on the market why not Try looking for Natural home made remedies for your hair, something that could keep it healthy and thick. If your a guy than quit applying gel or any artificial cream to tidy ur hair up, they say if you keep using that, the process of "baldness" will quicken.

See your doc, if you have one. If not try to keep your hair clean and use a good conditioner. This should help the hair stay on one piece.
But seriously see your local medical mercenary. They've got the hook up to the drugs. (and they'll sell you plenty).

You need to take a certain amount of Vitamin Bs and Biotin daily. If the condition persists, you need to see a doctor.
