Since that's not something that happens in all marriages, it sounds more like a personal interaction problem rather than a problem with marriage in general.

If there is no fun after marriage and just before....the marriage needs some help!
Marriage is something that has been completely ruined. It is not a "necessary" thing to do in life, but helps a great deal if a man and a woman can find each other and be happy and help each other thru life. My oppinion has been completely smashed about the whole institution. Why married couples cant co-exist with out getting completely bitter and sick of each other is a mystery to me. But, then again, I guess that is why I've never been married. I'm looking for a man and a marriage that doesnt exist.

Why does the relationship end there? It hasn't in my marriage. In fact, tonight my husband and I are going to the local comedy club. We try to have a date every month. We would do it more but we have 4 kids. Marriage doesn't end the fun and neither does having kids. You just have to use creative ways to have fun again.

Sounds like you either know little about marriage, or happen to be in an unhealthy one.
I'm happier today after 10 years of marriage than I ever was before.

There are many people in the world who don't marry but live together as if they are, many famous people are doing it,
however, marriage is the next stage in life, where you are ready to move on, and where FUN isn't everything in the world.

Of course you don't have to get married! There are many many "life partners" out there that have a wonderful union. Marriage is just a slip of paper! I don't understand why it is so important to people, but, if you have a wonderful relationship, there is no reason to get married just because it is "the norm." :)

If you believe in God...yes...it is necessary to be married....and marriage is the beginning of marriage....if things are not the same...then you should talk to one another and try to make things better...communication is the key to a strong marriage...and of course your faith in God and one another...
