No. Christians have been saying this for centuries. They long to see the Earth destroyed so they can rise up into heaven with the smug 'I told you so' look in their eyes.
But even Jesus gave a false prophecy about the end days (Matthew 16:28).
Christian churches will point to the chaos around the world as proof. But the reality is that the world is no less stable today than it was 500 years ago. The only difference is that we have better communications ability.
The world may one day end. But not in the way the Bible prophesies.

Its all scriptural, there'll be wars and rumors of wars, look to the east and to the west.

Yes, the hatred between each person in evident and it will only get worse and worse. As we go through each day, we can see in the beginning of Revelation the churches that are described - look at the issues the world is putting on churches. Look at it, the Catholic church cannot stand up to those who want churches to accept abortions - that is only a part of what Revelation reveals.
DO NOT GET ME WRONG! I am only giving you as well as others the facts that God has set forth. Man, will want to make the church a scapegoat and try to destroy the foundations that God has set out. War is upon us and those who are christians. In Europe priests and pastors are being placed in prison and even being killed. Why? Revelation. It is happening. It will only get worse.
Now you are probably wondering why this is happening? Why is God allowing this to happen? Because it must happen. Christians as well as other believers need to stand fast not back down. You or others do not want to be double minded.
I know I told you quite a bit here and I am not bashing you. But, I want you to do the research. I would like you to go out and watch the churches being brought down and forced to change their policies because of pressure. Take a look at man against man - the hatred and name calling. The death the destruction - satan is rubbing his hands together and he is ready to take those who are his.
Blessings to you and God is coming soon.

Probably are. Some think that Since Israel became a nation, the " clock" has started for the end of days.
Their teachings seem to make sense.

but it’s apparent to those who have eyes to see that the “fig tree” is indeed beginning to bud! What’s IMPORTANT is not to underestimate the times we’re living in. We are consistently reminded that we know not the hour when our Lord will come. We are also reminded that the days will be shortened for the elect’s sake, because if they weren’t, no flesh would remain alive. God has assured us He won’t let that happen.
We need to consider that there are conditions that could easily erupt into a rapid progression of circumstances igniting the world into catastrophic chaos. The book of Revelation explains that, “power was given unto them (the four horsemen) OVER THE FOURTH PART of the earth, to kill with the sword (second horsemen), and with hunger (third horsemen), and with death (fourth horsemen), and with the beasts of the earth” (Revelation 6:8).
The apostle John is warning us that twenty-five percent of the population of the world will be destroyed by the affects of these four horsemen contained in the FIRST FOUR SEALS! (Revelation 6:8) Then following, right on the heels of these first four seals, is the fifth seal describing a horrific Christian martyrdom. Quickly followed by the sixth seal describing heavenly signs in the sky, with the seventh seal opening up thereafter to announce the “Seven Trumpets” which outlines the great day of God’s wrath. (Revelation 6:17)
With that said, what all true believers need to do, is to begin realizing that prophetic events that we know are scripted to happen in our Bibles may occur by circumstances and conditions that are not necessarily detailed in our Bible. Remember World War’s 1 and 2 are not listed, yet they have had major influence in setting the current geopolitical stage. So has oil, economics, terrorism, weapons of mass destruction, and the vast cultural malaise and the rise of computer technology and the Internet; all of which are not detailed in our Bible.
However, all of these items are factors contributing to the massive trends catapulting the world toward a “one world order” that will position three major powers to face off with each other in the latter days; the King of the North, the King of the South, and those powers to the North-East of Jerusalem (Daniel 11:40-45). Sadly, it is obvious the influence and military might of the United States and Britain will have been previously neutralized, eliminating them from any involvement as a nation during these latter day conflicts.
With the United States and Britain out of the way, a “times of the Gentiles” will ensue. Events leading up to and causing the downfall of God’s birth-righted cultures resulting in enormous casualties and the death of thousands of Christians (Revelation 6:9-11) will certainly cause a mammoth scale geopolitical shift of unimaginable magnitude. This kind of turbulence, disorder, and anarchy would certainly give rise, providing a means for many of the prophecies outlined in your Bible to finally come to pass.
The point is we are living in very volatile times that are definitely unlike any time before. The fragility of our day can be fractured by something as simple as “one terrorist” deciding to do some mindless act of violence. It no longer takes a whole country to initiate the death of tens of thousands. That’s how vulnerable we are to events that could send the global community of nations into a tailspin, throwing it headlong into the abyss of confusion, chaos, and global destruction. Brethren, don’t UNDERESTIMATE THE BUDS OF THE “FIG TREE!” Beware and WATCH (Luke 21:29-36)! There is a storm brewing and yes, there is a tremendous amount of turbulence among the inhabitants of our planet. We are definitely in the throws of change and mounting danger. So keep your eyes in tune with the “times of the season” lest you suffer loss at the hands of our Lord.
The Apostle Paul reminds us, “But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of the darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.” 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11
