When I was younger 18 -35 I was incredibly good looking and females were not interested at all, not even initially. ( please do not suggest arrogance here) ! Now than I am much less good looking they are?

The rules of attraction don't change that much over time. They've mostly been the same since prehistoric days. If females are attracted to you now, you must've changed in some way that makes you more appealing. Maybe, you've got more money, adopted a more mature personality, are searching in different places for women etc. Somethings about you must've changed.
And I'd say don't wreck your brain trying to figure it out. If you've got women breaking down your door, I'd say let the good times roll.

I think some ppl make very quick assumptions about the ppl they meet. Either that they assume their personality is this or that. They won't be liked. That person cannot be uninvolved etc etc. I have heard men,even good looking ones, put off by their friends from coming over by saying such things and undermining their confidence.. Women do it too, but could be you're mixing with ppl who are more relaxed and confident and have realised not to assume themselves out of the running before they even try it!!

Why ask why? Just enjoy the bounty as you've found it. You might, for instance, have been so pretty in your youth that you looked soft, and age may have made you appear more rugged. I looked like a baby throughout my twenties and some of my thirties...now in my mid-forties I could easily pass for early thirties. None of that really matters much because you'll never get a definitive answer anyway. Like I said, just enjoy it...it's your time.

In fact, some females have the negative mindset that if a male is too good-looking, he would be most likely unfaithful to them. As many girls will be attracted to him, and he might betray their love. Therefore most girls rather get a not-so good-looking boyfriend, they will feel more secured with them.

Your confidence level is probably greater than it ever has been-you probably have achieved alot in life so far and that is what attracts people to you-but take if they are now-don't look back at the past move forward to the future.

maybe right now, you are who you are. before, you must have been the most pretentious guy in the world that puts up a front to get women.
Maybe now you have grown more mature and you have learned to become yourself. Maybe, that is the personality the women are and were looking for in you.

It's not you, arrogance or not. Men die sooner than women (although women are catching up because they are smoking more). There are fewer of us old fart, so we look better to the women who are left.
