I think your daughter is in love to that guy.I think there will be no problem if the guy is really single at his age. You know that your daughter sleeps with that guy and you did not do anything so it means that you are a very GOOD Mother. But I think you have to be strict a little bet because you know what will happen to your daughter later on. You know already that a girl and a boy meets and they feel hot so they will do SEX. If they have a plan of getting married and you find out that the guy is also good.Then what do you think will be your answer? No mothers in this world would put there daughter or son into a trouble life.

How are you going to control a grown woman? You can't. The "out of wedlock" thing is an outdated notion. People live together all of the time without being married. Many elderly do it because of financial reasons. I would just back off and leave her alone; stop preaching, Mama. Everyone has to make their own decisions in life. This is no reflection on you.

Well, if it were my 16 year old daughter. I would get my 12 gauge and I would be kicking down some ones door. If your just sitting there and allowing this to happen you need to get your head examined. That 32 year old black guy should know better. He needs to be locked up for a long time.
If she is 26. Then she is old enuff to make her own choices and suffer the whatever good or bad comes from it. I would still have to discourage though.

ok u said it isn't the black thing then why is that the way you ask the question. you could have said help my daughter is dating a way older man. for the help in some states that isn't legal and in mine it is over 14 i know that is so crazy. and for the sleeping over at his house that is your fault you are her mother and she is your responsibility until she is 18 she will get knock up and then will be a baby added to this mess. i would lock her up and throw away the key for awhile and for him can't say what i would do with that perve an old man playing with a young girl is a freak i guess i have no real answer but i hope you the best i know i was a hard teen to raise and i loves older men at that age but mine weren't even that old ;mine were low twenties i dont know i think they now all the right things to say these young boys have no clue all they no how to do is come right out and say let me in your pants. but one more time let me wish you the best of luck with her.

You have 2 problems. #1 she is 16...that is statutory rape #2You are letting her sleep over at his house. Did you know that charges a woman for child neglect because she was letting her minor child sleep with an adult. You have more problems than just her sleeping around. You really need to tale a look in the mirror and ask yourself a few tough questions about yourself and the way you are raising your child. I think she has no guidance and no boundaries from her parents.

I was going to say , that you need a reality check , if you didnt approve of her going out with a black man , but its good to see its not that,
regarding the age difference, I do agree, that it is a bit too big for that age, I think I would sit down with her, and just tell her you are worried, and explain why .
Im not sure about the laws where you are, but you could contact your local police, and tell them , that a 32 yold guy is going out with ur daughter.

Sorry to hear this upsets you so..you have the right to want the best for your daughter but in all reality she's a grown women who has to make choices on her own. The more you tell her not to the more she'll want to do it. Just let her know you'll always be there for her through what ever choices that it may be...thats just life. Good Luck!

Well I was completely on your side until you corrected yourself and put 26. It's her life and she's an adult and can make her own decisions. If you ask me you are a racist, because there is only a 6 year difference and that is nothing. My husband and I are 8 years apart. You need to leave her alone, unless there is some kind of emotional or physical abuse going on.

First of all, if you don't have a problem with the black part, then just say she's dating a 32 year old man.
Does he know what jail bait is? I don't think personally it's okay for someone of his age to date someone your daughter's age, unless they're in love & he's not just out to use her.

Well if she is 16 years old my suggestion is call the police and get him arrested. But if the she is 26 them she is in title to living her like the way she wants to which means you really can t do much expect give your thoughts and feeling on there relationships to your daughter.
