No! - There is a chance that it runs in families so if family members have a history of cancer, chances are that others in the family have a higher chance of developing it 'much' later in life - more than other people - but cancer IS NOT CONTAGIOUS - a person with cancer can not transmit cancer to you in ANYWAY - It is simply when there own cells undergo a mutation as a result of radiation or other external or internal mutagens that causes the cells to divide out of control - too many times and too fast in a concentrated area and so forms what is known as a 'tumor' it is a disease that kills the person who has it eventually - if it is not caught in time or not curable - but kissing, touching or even having sex - you cannot get cancer!

Apparently so, if infected body parts come into contact:
Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancers that affect a woman's reproductive organs. Various strains of the human papillomavirus (HPV), a sexually transmitted infection, are responsible for most cervical cancer cases.
HPV can spread through skin-to-skin contact with any infected part of the body — but using a condom every time you have sex can significantly reduce your risk of contracting HPV, according to a 2006 study.

Well, not unless you count getting the human papillomia virus from sex and then getting cervical cancer. That is the only example I can think of.

Cancer is caused by a reproduction of abnormal cells. since its not an infectious disease caused by bacterias or viruses, it cannot be transmitted from human to human.

No it can not be transmitted. You can only develop it. Cancer is basically when a cell becomes abnormal.

No. But the genes for predisposition (not the canceritself) to it can be inherited/passed down.
Ah, yes-
the HPV CAN LEAD TO cancer, but
you DONT CONTRACT CANCER, YOU CONTRACT THE HP VIRUS (pappilloma) which causes it, so truthfull,y stilll no! ;)
