DVDShrink is the easiest software I've used for copying even protected DVDs:

I use Nero Ultra edition. The only problem is that Nero wont remove the copyright protection. So I use a program called AnyDVD to remove the copyright stuff. You can get AnyDVD from the Slysoft website. It costs somewhere around 30 dollars and you get free updates for life. Nero you can get at any store or off of Limewire.

go to slysoft.com, and get their program called ''any dvd'' and download it, its the best one peroid. ive used it on over 100 rented movies, no problems. even does sony movies
