Less hurt. Because of the natural competition within the genders (man vs. man or woman vs. woman). Definitely would be very much hurt regardless, but less so if the same sex.

I would be hurt BAD! If my mate cheated on me with another guy, I would be sad, cuz he must think women aren't good at all! It would bring me down

Yes. It would still hurt, but I'd prefer to be dumped for a guy than another woman. It means that no matter what, it wasn't my fault.

yes i will be more hurt coz not only did she cheated on me by having someone else but she cheated on me also on her identity. I would feel so used.
