What a silly question. If a colon cleanser is working, trust me you will know. First clue, frequent visits to the bathroom. If you still don't feel it's working seek the advice of your physician not yahoo answers board.

Depends on how strong they are. The herb senna is very strong but take too much and get severe intestinal cramping. See this site on colon health and quickest colon cleanser and most thorough (an hour) but with no bad effects.

i take colon cleansers!!
if you take it 3x a day the next day you'll see the effect

Usually overnight. You will know because you will be on the toilet all day long.
