Paul indicated that through Jesus the Gentiles now have the same opportunity as the Jews. (Do you disagree with that? Remember many Jews feel you have to be born Jewish, not just convert! If you're not born Jewish you're not chosen, according to Paul acceptance of Jesus by the Gentiles now makes salvation possible. That's the basic idea behind Christianity.
