We both have told each other we have feelings for each other...for awhile....She gives me a lot of idks, has a new boyfriend, but at the same time...she has told me not to give up on her though, and I don't want to give up, but this kind of situation is killing me and breaking my heart. She's known this guy a short time and me for a long time. Should I not give up even though I can't sleep or think?

I would not give her the ultimatum of him or you. You might end up getting hurt more. But I would tell her that you can't just hang around until she makes up her mind. Tell her that you are going to start dating other women just as she is dating another man. And actually do it! What this will do is either force her to find another man that she can string along as she is doing you or realize that she really does like you and has been treating you wrongly. In her realization she will either cut you lose or cut the other guy lose and cling to you like there is no tomorrow.
But be prepared to move on. Get a girl to start dating before you even talk to your friend. This way you will have someone to go out with if she lets you go and you need a pick-me-up. It will also help you to keep your word when you say you are going to date other people. She may even let you go, see or hear about you out with this other women and realize she wants you. But definitely get another women.

If she has a new boyfriend, then you need to move on. Some people like to keep their ex on a backburner "just in case." I think it's ruined for you in the long run, because if she DID take you back (should be YOU taking HER back, right?) things wouldn't be the same. You'd just be waiting for her to leave you again, and she'd be looking for her next true love. Break it off clean, without any of this "still have feelings for each other" stuff. Give yourself a chance to meet someone who will love YOU, and not use you for a trampoline.

I agree, sounds like if her and the other boyfriend doesn't work out she'll have you close by. Move on. There are to many girls out there to stay stuck on one that is abusing you. Good luck

I think I would tell her it hurts you are not going to wait for her because their is someone out their that is looking for and good man. SO DON"T WAIT AROUND FOR HER IT A WAST OF TIME .

lose her and find someone else why bother with someone who is making you feel like crap all the time. theres always someone else out there it sounds like you are her back up plan if the other guy doesn't turn out to be mr right

No. Let her go. When you do, tell her you just can't play second fiddle anymore.
If she does love you,she'll figure it out. If she doesn't love you, she'll figure that out too.
