Bourton-on-the-Water, which stands on the River Windrush is a pretty little place. It has a small car museum and a model village. The river has lots of arched stone bridges over it. Take a look at it on the internet, I don't think you'll be disappointed. Moreton-in -th-Marsh is also very nice. Have a great day out.

Why would you want to go to the cotswolds? I live in Witney and it is a Dump. Bicester is not in the cotswolds by the way. Try Burford, Chipping Norton, Moreton in Marsh or Stow on the Wold. I think Stow has a market on Friday. Witney has markets on Thursday and Saturday, in the market square oddly enough. lol.
