I'm ready and have been for a long time. Gotta go to church so I can grow more like Him on this earth right now though.
But simple side ? Seems like the scripture that you quote for the Rapture is the Actual Second Coming verse. Do we need to be Raptured elsewhere If Jesus is already here?

If you wish to believe in myths, that is your business.
Regarding the rapture, how are people supposed to breathe when they go up in the air? Will they have oxygen tanks so that they can breathe in outer space? Will Jesus send space ships to take them away? And what about when the graves open up? How are decayed bodies supposed to go up?
Don't believe everything you read or hear. Consider that to be your saving grace for a lot of situations.

Oh good grief. The 'return of the christ' and the 'rapture' will occur when those who pretend to follow Jesus truly start following his teachings.
