No one has EVER seen a spirit leaving a body. Even if such a thing existed, It could not be "seen" or observed. If it could, there would definitely be some recorded evidence on film or photographs by now.. Anyone who says they saw a spirit leaving a body is either a fool or a liar.

If you see the (dead) body of a loved one, a close relation or friend, there is a difference between that person seen asleep and that person seen dead. What is left after "life" departs the body is a mere shell and to me, it is a very sad sight indeed.
The mystery of whether a "spirit" leaves a body is one that could be discussed ad infinitum. I am somewhat envious of the writer who saw a whitish glow leave her grandmother's body as she died. Surely, she was sensitive to this and did actually see something, or believe she saw something. I find these experiences (heard from others) comforting, as it leads one to feel there is some kind of life after death. The mystery of whether there is a life after death is one of the great questions of life. So far it is is unanswerable. And maybe that's how it should be.

I have never seen the spirit leave, but when my daughter passed away, I felt something leave me. She was only 20 months and whatever "left" me, was replaced with a peace that I never felt before nor can I explain too well. The doctor said that many parents experience what I felt and he could only explain it as some spirits wait to leave until they know that it is okay with their love ones to go.

When someone die the material influence and existence of his life end up. You can understand it more clearly when you think about someone you don't know and see dieing. You will never has the chance to meet that person and see how he could live if he survived. Humans understands world by their own senses so they explain death for example as visible or thermal feeling (cold). However most people feel something more and usually can't easily explain it. They feel some kind of sorrow or saint sublimity depend on situation. I didn't see ghost but I felt many times and everyone case was different like their life's.

I have and even though I thought such a thing would be scarry I was actually very peaceful and calming. Wehn my granny died I say a soft whitish aura surround her body and then gradaully ascend upwards. It paused only briefly at the ceiling as if to say good-bye. I had the most comforting feeling right at that time. Then it dissapeared thorugh the ceiling. When I looked back at my granny's body it was as if she had found some kind of peace. It was quite a profund experience.
