When I was a Kid a friend of mine had one in 1950, his dad was offered over $200 for it and it was at least 30 years old at that time, and he turned it down at thathat time because there were so few made..
At the Same time a Brand New, 25-20 / 410 over & under by Savage Arms was costing about $70, because that’s what I bought. There’s your comparison.

If Your Gun wasn't damaged in breaking the stock and the stock was like eaten by termites or Dry rot the Gun could be worth a great deal today especially with all New Checkered wood work.

Regarding the Finish, Also to consider many HR Guns were Brown Nickel plated rather than blued have it checked for that as well, and don't try to Blue it over any Brown Nickeling if the finish is holding don't do anything to it other than oil it good.

I hope you got it at a good price For You’ve got a great investment gun for a collector, One that's real hard to get for a collection.

One other thing you might get is the Lee Loader and bullet caster for the bullets and shells. You might see if you can find or pick up some old Brass 410 Shot Casings as well and learn to pack and load them also. Those will increase the value considerably if you’ve got 15 or 20 to go with the Gun..

Sorry Kids but at 70 years old I'm through collecting anything but Gold or Silver. Ya all have Fun....

Aloha Oi And God Bless
