None, except to want to enter the gates of "heaven".

We have the power to be/do/have anything, and "heaven" is just a state of being, rather than a place in the sky somewhere.

This can be done regardless of religious or cultural background.. since it's just a choice.

People who believe it is hard to enter heaven make it hard for themselves and thus it is a self fulfilling prophesy.

You can't, unfortunately, buy a ticket, or lead a good life to heaven. Jesus died for your sins on the cross for you. I am really glad you are asking this question. I am almost crying I am happy. Here is a Scripture I believe God wants for you Matthew 10:28- "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both the soul and body in hell." All the riches in the world won't get you into heaven. Heaven is a reward and it seems like everyone wants it. The thing is though that you have to accept that Jesus died and rose again for your sins. He can give you new life. You can have that new life. Just believe in Him and follow Him and then it will be so rewarding at the end of your life because you will finally get to meet the One who saved you and made your life so meaningful.

The criteria for entering into heaven is to, "Believe in Jesus"
Believing in Jesus you must:
Believe in His mission: That He came to earth to die on a cruel cross for the sins of all mankind. God being God requires that a price be paid (that we cannot pay) for every sin committed.
Believe in who He was: He was and is the Son of the Most High God. There are three persons in the Trinity (God Head) The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Believe in what happened concerning Him:
That he died was resurrected, ascended to Heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father.
Believe in what will happen concerning Him:
That He will come back to judge the living and the dead.

do you really think that a religion is buying a ticket to heaven ?
do you think god is that shallow ?
sweetheart live a good life , enjoy the wonders of life and if religion appeals to you then by all means research them and choose one that holds beliefs similar to your own
each religion is going to say yes mine is the key .. they will all think that and that's OK .. but can they all be right ? are they all built on lies ?
i think the key to getting into heaven is being an individual with your own choices and free will and living a good life based on your own personal morals
good luck with your search and i hope you find happiness and contentment in your life xx

just thought about your last question .. yes i know of non religious people who live eternally in spirit world

Just be a good person. The 10 commandments in one form or the other is found in all religions. Stick to them. Stay away from the man made corrupted religions. Organized religion is going and letting others tell you what to think or do. Think for yourself and don't be lead.

You can't just buy a ticket to heaven, you have to earn that right...regardless of which religious belief you practice...Just be a good person, do good onto others and create spiritual peace and happiness within yourself right here while you are on Earth...

Yes, basically. Our morality isn't enough simply because it's tainted by the sin-curse that all mankind is born with. What WE think to be moral doesn't always line up with what "thus saith the LORD", therefore we have to be obedient to God's salvation plan and live a sanctified life ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE.

Good deeds cannot help us enter the gates of heaven. Gods grace let us go to heaven. Grace means something of value given to undeserving folks like you and me.

Only by this grace that we are able to enter heaven. Ask God for it continuously by professing faith in Him who has given us grace.

Don't worry about religion. Are you a good kind person? Did you help out when you could? Did you ever hope for others well being? You will go to a good place if you did good things. Trust me.

Heaven is a Christian belief. Seems like your question presents a paradox,
