Was it a crisis for you? Did you feel old before you were ready? Yank it out? Color it? Hide it? Or did you wear it proudly as a badge of experience?

Female here, and right after I turned 31.
My boyfriend pulled it out at that time.
I'm almost 40 now, I might have 4 gray hairs, total.
I leave them in, I've earned every one.

I was born with grey hair, and alot of older people men and women say that it is a sign of wisdom. But now that i am in my near mid 30's, i have been coloring or streaking my hair, because i have more now than i did when i was younger. If you yank it out , it's only going to grow back the same color, maybe even more. If you don't like it you can always color it, spicing up always makes me feel better!

When i was 14 !!

Yeah, was disturbed a little and yanked it out of course. At that time i thought i wouldnt mind having greys and would not do all the things others do, but now i have many more than one, almost half of them are grey now. now i color them, hide them, and everything else. now i am thinking of cutting my hair short and not coloring them at all

hope you cope well

I can't remember exactly when, but I do remember pulling it out! It didn't take long for another to appear and at that point I just left it alone. I decided that it was just another aspect of my life and I accepted it. Anyway, my wife thought I looked sexy with a little grey!!!

I was 25. Now my hair is almost all gray. When I get old people will say "He looks good"! But for a guy who colors his gray hair. When he gets old, people will say,"Boy he looks old"!

I think I was around 14. I was a little freaked out but I realized it is genetics and got over it. They do not make me feel old, they are just there so who cares.I usually have my mircobraids so no one really can see them.

I was about 50! But I hate them at any age. I do not intend to age gracefully. Why would I do that? I have never done anything gracefully in my whole life.
