geeze. didnt the asker say already what choices he/she has? So no reason to propose other countries. If you can chose between these two then I would recommend:
bangkok-pattaya-phuket.
Pattay might be a bit hard for family travel so you better also check out a nice beach in phuket. Singapore...leave it out. with bangkok you see a much more exciting city in south east asia already so you better have some more time at the beach instead of going to steriel singapore.

I would suggest you avoid Pattaya. IMO it is over-developed and not ideal for a family vacation.
I suggest combining Bangkok/Phuket/Singapore - it works well on a number of levels including the practical one of travelling. You can fly from one to the next.
Singapore is the more expensive of the three destinations and I would suggest 3/4 nights there would be optimal for a first visit.
Recommendations (depending upon the age of your children):
Bangkok - Grand Palace.
Phuket - Beaches and Phang Nga
Singapore - Sentosa, shopping malls.
Weather does play its part but I assume you have already investigated that.

DO NOT take you family to Pattaya. I would do Bangkok quickly like see the palace and the floating market and go. It is pretty disgusting. Someone else said Chaing Mai and yes it is a bit better then Bangkok and you can go on good day trips. I don't know Phuket but I think Koh Samui is nice for families. You can ride elephants and go to the aquarium and it is more relaxed.

Chiangmai - Phuket - Bangkok
Then, return home.
Chiangmai = Canada
Phuket = Bahamas
Pattaya is too crowded and too
colorful (sin city) for family.

If you are looking for a beach holiday, then avoid Singapore.
If you are on a family holiday I would suggest avoiding Pattaya also

i think bangkok - pattaya and phuket it's good.
or bangkok - phuket and chiang mai. it's better. cause pattay and phuket are beached in thailand. if you want to change to another feel. you can try to chiang mai.
