A "Blog" is an opinion piece or journal published by an average person usually, not paid to do so, who posts it so others can follow his or her progression through events and news developments. A blogger garners attention as his or her blog starts to grow and collects more and more people interested in his or her opinions, impressions and experiences which can be published daily, weekly or at whatever interval the blogger chooses to publish. This "blog posting" can contain any material the blogger wants to include, and people usually can respond to each particular blog and dialogue with the blogger to argue or clarify certain points made, so everyone can see and participate in the ongoing dialogue. Some blogs can get hundreds of responses with a few days of being published and get recognition and attention to a particular subject or the person posting the blog on the internet.
