If it takes three days to mail a letter, you must live a long way away from the post box.

If it's a P.O.Box it should only take 3 to 5 days this time of year
If it's a street address it could take 5 to 7 days..

if it's a bill it will be there overnight - if it's just a letter it should arrive within 2 - 4 business days.
