1 year*(365 days/1 yr)*(24 hrs/1day)*(60 minutes/1 hr) = 525, 600 minutes in a year

that is assuming 365 days in a year but we know b that is not exactly correct... ( remember leap years make up for it not being exactl 365 days but actually a bit more) so... if we use a more accurate value that takes into consideration

365.2422 days /year...

1 year*(365.2422 days/1 yr)*(24 hrs/1day)*(60 minutes/1 hr) =525,948.768 minutes!

What's your defintion of a year?

A solar year?

A mean year?

A leap year?

A siderail year is: 525969.216 as pointed out by a previous answer.

525,600, as pointed out by a previous answer is a non-leap year calendar year.

527,040 is a leap year.

The Siderial year is the actual year as that is when the Earth passes the same meridian. It is our "boot up" mark on the hard drive disk!
