If you think it's hard on older ladies, think about how the younger generation feels. Well, the 3 of them still interested in a gentleman. When I was dating, and it wasn't so long ago, it was practically impossible to find a guy who would even hold a door open for me. Most were absorbed with themselves and felt it was perfectly okay to turn me down, to my face, because I was 'fat.' (aka chubby).
Depending on what area of the country you live in, try a church social group. Remember, you always have to look for the gems among the dirt.

It's still possible for sure, however, many mature guys are busy with work, family, or other things in life than hanging out in the usual dating scene places-- bars, clubs, cafe's, and even internet.
Remember, older guys generally don't use the Internet much and would be less open to Internet dating etc.
The best place would be to try places where mature guys hang out.. such as golf courses, pubs on a Sunday afternoon, racetrack, beach areas in summer, etc., and then strike up a convo with one that seems interested in you.. stay positive.

You're looking in the wrong place . I am 52 and know many, many men who are single gentlemen . You first have to be a LADY . Not one of these women in their 40,s or 50,s thinking and dressing like their in their 20,s or teens . Find a biker like I did . Been with him for 12 years and love every minute with him !

It's because younger ladies allow men to act like fools for so much of their lives.
It is unacceptable for a man not to open the door for a woman, not to wait for her to sit first, not to allow her order to be placed first, not to take the trash out for her.
Unfortunately young ladies these days say that's "old school". When the relationship doesn't work out the guy is trained in thinking this is acceptable.
Best wishes.

My mom found a nice guy at church. She is in her seventies and he is in his eighties. THey are both religious so it worked out well. Having said that, I think it is a "selfish gene" issue. Men stay capable of producing sperm longer (usually) than women are fertile. Reasons for this are rooted in evolution theories. But, on that level, an older man is going to search out a fertile woman. Not all men react to their genetic programming the same way, so there is hope!
You could try starting a senior singles dating club in your area!

Here is my theory. The older the man gets, the more he is coming close to the age where he will no longer be able to get an erection. (Yes Viagra does exist, but I am sure it doesnt feel good). The more they realize they can't get an erection, the more they want to experience as much sexual pleasure as possible. What arouses men more than anything else? Young Hot sexy Bootie. That's it. We have to admit it. Its dirty, its disgusting... but it happens. Its more arousing for them I suppose.

I found one and I love him and to tell the truth he found me. Sounds like you are looking to hard. Just go out and make your self available and he will find you and sweep you off your feet. If you stop looking you all of a sudden make your self so more available for that gentleman to find you and don't look so desperate to him anymore. Good luck!!

It is hard but not impossible.
Why is it hard? Because in today's society it's all about being friendly and open .... and cool.
But If you look hard enough you will find one, you just have to look on the right places ... people that are more serious ... like lawyers and bankers....
Be positive! If you will look hard in the sense of FINDING .... he ... hey!! check the door! I guess it's him!
Listen it's all about the right attitude!

I try to be a gentleman whenever I can. But today's society with the music and t.v shows being a gentleman is like being "soft".
