Another hypocrite bites the dust!

Mel Gibson has always been a good actor, but as a person, he is totally whacked. He is a chauvinist who has kept his poor wife pregnant for most of their marriage and follows a form of Catholicism that is as archaic as it can get. The fact that alcohol has him by the short hairs explains a lot about his delusional beliefs. It is amazing that he somehow didn't sneak a few pink elephants into his disgusting Jesus snuff movie.

I am always amazed about how judgemental non-Christians are towards Christians.
We too make mistakes, mess up and generally act like the world.
But the difference between a non Christian and myself- I know I sin and admit to it and needing a Saviour.
And another hyprocrite did not bite the dust, but showed the world that we too mess up and make mistakes- it's what we do after we mess up that makes the difference.

Having the disease of alcoholism and 'slipping' is hardly "biting the dust".

He was never sainted, either.

How does that make him a hypocrite?
I don't recall him ever speaking out about how alcoholics are horrible people.

He's a saint now is he?

Kinda like some of the local churches here.
Just show up wearing a suit and you qualify to teach Sunday school.

Mel Gibson is an out-and-out anti-Semitic lunatic. He's 100% off-the-wall nuts and obsessed with Jews.

Anyone in Hollywood with any human decency will consider him persona non grata from now on.

(As if that hateful inciting movie he made wasn't enough)

It amazes me that people don't realize that stars are just people too they have problems just like everyone else, so what. You are the hypocrite for attacking someone with a disease, yes alcholism is a disease, and you should show some respect that he is willing to admit it.

Nope you know why. Jesus came for sinners. To set the captives free. As many times as we get in trouble He is there for us. If the Melster has never really accepted Christ Jesus is ready to receive Him. If He did long ago and has slipped the Lord is there to take Him back.

We don't shoot our wounded.

Christians are human too, and make mistakes just like everyone else. I would say you are more likely to make it to hell before Mel does, because you are ignorant and seem to seek pleasure in pointing out other people's failings and mock them for it.

Christians aren't perfect, just forgiven.

None of us are perfect! Mel messed up, admitted his mistake and will likely mess up again.....because he's HUMAN! Christian's aren't perfect, we are forgiven! Mark 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God.
Mel can and will be forgiven if he truly has Christ in his life!
