In the hypothetical scenario, the third cousins met in an environment that provided limited ability to communicate vocally. This may include somewhere very loud, somewhere that requires everyone to be very quiet, or somewhere where talking is the last thing on everyone's mind.

Also Imagine the person you are talking to is a close friend or family member, someone with whom you share mutual trust, and they are asking for your advice, or you are asking for theirs (depending on how you want to perceive the hypothetical).

Use your imagination. What would you do or say?

Third cousin is really like a stranger , I'm Methodist and live in Pennsylvania , USA . I think that if he /she were a second cousin it would be bad . Don't forget that's how people use to keep their blue blood flowing . heck I almost went out with a guy I met at a club , we found each other attractive and after talking amongst our friends and with each other that night , we found out we were first cousins , That's a NO NO !

By the time you get to that level it's not considered incest at all. It may feel weird to people in the family, but the blood line has been so diluted by then that you could live together, have kids and have a great life. I'm in the US, and Some questions I would have more than what you asked is : What I'm reading is you didn't know she was related right? And really is she? Surname or not, there's a bunch of ways that you could have the same surname without being related by blood. At this point are you happy? Then God's thinking, RIGHT ON!!! another happy customer. He is NOT going to sit in judgment on this relationship

Oh I don't know - how about getting to know someone before, in your words, you "had your way with them". I mean is that a ridicules idea or what? Not saying be married...but knowing their name MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA. Third cousins CAN marry but with all the people in the world out there why take that risk? I live in the US and I am catholic, although that had NOTHING to do with my answer.

Third cousins is distant enough, but I know many of my third cousins and they are still too much like family to me. But not everyone knows so many of their relatives, and this is probably a lot more common than you think.
I live in the USA, and my religious denomination has no relevance.

There are millions, or billions of people in the world, who are NOT related to you! Go out, introduce yourself, and find someone. Leave your damn relatives alone! Yes, you didn't know you were related, but now you do. So if you continue this relationship, then you are a sick pervert!

properly, there aren't any guidelines adversarial to consensual incest in some countries or perhaps some jurisdictions in the u . s .. If homosexuals may have sex or perhaps marry, why no longer relations members? From what I collect, 0.5 brothers and sisters are frequently authorised to marry in Sweden. i recognize it disturbs a lot of human beings and is going adversarial to countless of the norms of society like interracial marriage and homosexuality once did over a 0.5 a century in the past; even if, i trust governments which separate faith from state concerns ought to no longer have the right to impose detention center sentences on consenting adults inquisitive about sexual relations members, regardless of relationship - quite relations from an identical technology i.e. gay and heterosexual brother/sister/cousin relationships. also, with the introduction of birth control, duplicate isn't a serious situation. besides, in a loose united states of america, who's to verify who can and can't reproduce. Offspring from those relationships have an identical possibilities of having an risky toddler as a mom over 35. Does the regulation restriction them from having a baby? at the same time as Intrafamilial inbreeding over many generations are conventional to reason issues, the possibilities of having a healthful toddler are nonetheless rather intense if there is a few occasional genetic range. also, someplace in our genealogical historic past, some generations under no circumstances branched out, making us products of appropriate human beings. well-being organizations consisting of planned Parenthood ought to correctly be useful in helping couples in those relationships verify the prospect confidentially. i trust maximum of society's prejudices adversarial to those relationships are by and massive in accordance to fantasy and superstition. i hit upon it ironic that everybody appears to be like better keen to strive against for a lady's properly to have an abortion - something which infringes on one's (the unborn baby's) properly to existence, liberty and the pursuit of happiness - with suggestions from terminating a existence a lot a lot too youthful for consent, than help human beings's freedom to stay freely and attain an age at the same time as they're waiting to verify for themselves the existence type they choose to steer. compared to abortion, which compromises existence unable to consent, consensual incest is a victimless crime and hence ought to be decriminalized.
