Governments with treaties with Israel--Egypt and Jordan--get along much better....they aren't fighting all the time. How can this region get anywhere if it is fighting all the time?

It's because the UN is a joke. They are against Israel and hate them with a passion. No one can name an instance in which the UN did what it was created to do. Because they are the Useless Nations.

Thousands upon thousands of incursions into Israel have occurred in plain view of a U.N. observation outpost. Islamic terrorists use U.N. "territory" to launch attacks on Israel. the incursion into Israel that has started this whole thing( where they killed 10 Israeli soldiers and kidnapped 2) took place in full view of a U.N. observation outpost. The U.N. has certainly showed a lack of motivation to support peace.
