Most of the religions(especially the Ibrahimic ones and their branches)agree on one thing it is that.....the end of days is very near..!
Muslims say that it is time for Al-mahdi to be born and for jesus to come down to earth to set peace on earth and destroy blaspheme...
Christians say that jesus will come down to earth in this century to send all blasphemists and non-christians to hell and make all his believers live in peace and happiness for a 1000 years.....some popes assumed that he will come down in 2018 as they added 6+6+6 to the year 2000 because 666 is the satan number for the christians..
Jews say that the end of days is coming...thats why they took jerusalem from the muslims in 1948...to make it ready for the coming of jesus......then all of the non-jew people will be slaves to the jews.....
Jehovah's witnesses say that the end is near...very near...!
and the list goes on and on!...
so dont you think that the end of days is really near...?!

Jesus said, "no man shall no the time of my coming, I will come like a thief in the night." Yet everyont seems to think that God thought it would be fun to leave us these little hints. I guess if you get it right you get a luxury cloud in heaven or something? Personally I don't think that we can figure it out. Jesus told us he would return as a message of hope not as a riddle. It seems like Jews, Christians and Muslims are actually trying to take an active roll in bringing forth the end of day. Why? It's isn't like it is going to be fun or that you will get special rewards for killing other people to bring about the return of the Prince of Peace. I think it is a heresy that many will pay for when the real judgement day comes. I think we should go on with our lives and live the business of fulfilling prophesy to God.

Nothis question is not a funny subject. First place the bible tells us of signs of the end, However is also says no one will really know.
All these diffrerent groups and people can keep saying it willl end at a certain time. I doubt they have a chat room with God and he is telling themexactly when.
The bible also states no one knows and he shall come like a theif in the night.
Just recently I saw and article on the internet about this. It was stated that God's measures years diffrently than what we think of time and years. was very interesting wished I would have copied it or added it to favorites, you would have enjoyed it.
So. to those predicting a time frame of the end of the world., I would say sorry, better go back and read what the bible actually says. Dont just give peoiple bits and pieces. this is adding and taking away from what it really reads. thanks for your question. doubt theyy or you and I will know when it will happen . only God knows and I am not going to sit around today and worry if today is the day.

There are many things that can be pointed to as signs of the coming end. It is safe to say that we are closer than ever, but since time moves any only one direction that actually holds true for any future event. Study the signs and recognize them. No man knows the time and day, except the Father. The JWs have been predicting dates since the early part of the 20th century.

I don't know how old you are.....but I've been hearing that same crap my entire life, and I'm 40+

As a small child, I sat in church and listened while our preacher warned us of the 'end of time'. He said the rain would come, the winds would howl, the fires would burn....and so on. Everyone was CERTAIN the end would happen any day.

I was terrified every time a storm came because of his ranting.....WHICH IS WHY I RESENT THIS CRAP BEING PREACHED to this DAY....

What kind of idiots think it is ok to frighten small children with that kind of lunacy???

The end of time may in fact be near, but not because somebody's religion predicted it....it will happen because man did it to himself.

Therefore in my opinion this is...
BUNK, ABSOLUTE BUNK !!!

I think that the end of days is like time. To us, time is present but not tangible. How can we begin to understand? Time has no beginning to us and no concievable end. But everything logically, needs to have an end, right? Maybe not. Things in this life are so much more than what we can see with our eyes or think with our minds. I think that people, need to make things more understandable to make life easier to deal with - It is a constant struggle to keep faith. One of my favorite sayings it...Without the dark you cannot see the light. Maybe the end of days theory helps us to appreciate the here and now.

The "end of days" has been "near" for the last 30 years of my life.

Imagine what a waste it would have been for me to live in fear of that each and every day.

It is truly funny how religions parallel...some of them saying the same things...yet they can't get along. Protestants pelting Catholic children with rocks, Muslims killing each other out of who is more right between sects, and the strife in India...all of it wierd.

I remember as a young boy going outside right before a big summer storm, I could smell the air, I could feel the breeze on my face..I mean I could just taste the fact that a storm was coming..there was just something in the air.

That's how I feel now about this subject

"Christians say that jesus will come down to earth in this century to send all blasphemists and non-christians to hell and make all his believers live in peace and happiness for a 1000 years"

I have never heard a "Christian" make this statement.

"Jehovah's witnesses say that the end is near...very near"

Jehovah's Witnesses have been making unfulfilled prophecies since their religion was initiated.

Here is what the Bible actually says:

Mat 24:3 While He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached Him privately and said, "Tell us, when will these things happen? And what is the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?"
Mat 24:4 Then Jesus replied to them: "Watch out that no one deceives you.
Mat 24:5 For many will come in My name, saying, 'I am the Messiah,' and they will deceive many.
Mat 24:6 You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, because these things must take place, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
Mat 24:8 All these events are the beginning of birth pains.
Mat 24:9 "Then they will hand you over for persecution, and they will kill you. You will be hated by all nations because of My name.
Mat 24:10 Then many will take offense, betray one another and hate one another.
Mat 24:11 Many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.
Mat 24:12 Because lawlessness will multiply, the love of many will grow cold.
Mat 24:13 But the one who endures to the end will be delivered.
Mat 24:14 This good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed in all the world as a testimony to all nations. And then the end will come.
Mat 24:15 "So when you see the abomination that causes desolation, spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place" (let the reader understand),
Mat 24:16 "then those in Judea must flee to the mountains!
Mat 24:17 A man on the housetop must not come down to get things out of his house.
Mat 24:18 And a man in the field must not go back to get his clothes.
Mat 24:19 Woe to pregnant women and nursing mothers in those days!
Mat 24:20 Pray that your escape may not be in winter or on a Sabbath.
Mat 24:21 For at that time there will be great tribulation, the kind that hasn't taken place from the beginning of the world until now and never will again!
Mat 24:22 Unless those days were limited, no one would survive. But those days will be limited because of the elect.
Mat 24:23 "If anyone tells you then, 'Look, here is the Messiah!' or, 'Over here!' do not believe it!
Mat 24:24 False messiahs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.
Mat 24:25 Take note: I have told you in advance.
Mat 24:26 So if they tell you, 'Look, he's in the wilderness!' don't go out; 'Look, he's in the inner rooms!' do not believe it.
Mat 24:27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.
Mat 24:28 Wherever the carcass is, there the vultures will gather.
Mat 24:29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days: The sun will be darkened, and the moon will not shed its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the celestial powers will be shaken.
Mat 24:30 "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the peoples of the earth will mourn; and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
Mat 24:32 "Now learn this parable from the fig tree: As soon as its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near.
Mat 24:33 In the same way, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near--at the door!
Mat 24:34 I assure you: This generation will certainly not pass away until all these things take place.
Mat 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.
Mat 24:36 "Now concerning that day and hour no one knows--neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son--except the Father only.
Mat 24:37 As the days of Noah were, so the coming of the Son of Man will be.
Mat 24:38 For in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah boarded the ark.
Mat 24:39 They didn't know until the flood came and swept them all away. So this is the way the coming of the Son of Man will be:
Mat 24:40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and one left.
Mat 24:41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and one left.
Mat 24:42 Therefore be alert, since you don't know what day your Lord is coming.
Mat 24:43 But know this: If the homeowner had known what time the thief was coming, he would have stayed alert and not let his house be broken into.
Mat 24:44 This is why you also must be ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
Mat 24:45 "Who then is a faithful and sensible slave, whom his master has put in charge of his household, to give them food at the proper time?
Mat 24:46 That slave whose master finds him working when he comes will be rewarded.
Mat 24:47 I assure you: He will put him in charge of all his possessions.
Mat 24:48 But if that wicked slave says in his heart, 'My master is delayed,'
Mat 24:49 and starts to beat his fellow slaves, and eats and drinks with drunkards,
Mat 24:50 that slave's master will come on a day he does not expect and at an hour he does not know.
Mat 24:51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Mat 25:1 "Then the kingdom of heaven will be like 10 virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom.
Mat 25:2 Five of them were foolish and five were sensible.
Mat 25:3 When the foolish took their lamps, they didn't take oil with them.
Mat 25:4 But the sensible ones took oil in their flasks with their lamps.
Mat 25:5 Since the groom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
Mat 25:6 "In the middle of the night there was a shout: 'Here's the groom! Come out to meet him.'
Mat 25:7 "Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps.
Mat 25:8 But the foolish ones said to the sensible ones, 'Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.'
Mat 25:9 "The sensible ones answered, 'No, there won't be enough for us and for you. Go instead to those who sell, and buy oil for yourselves.'
Mat 25:10 "When they had gone to buy some, the groom arrived. Then those who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet, and the door was shut.
Mat 25:11 "Later the rest of the virgins also came and said, 'Master, master, open up for us!'
Mat 25:12 "But he replied, 'I assure you: I do not know you!'
Mat 25:13 "Therefore be alert, because you don't know either the day or the hour.
Mat 25:14 "For it is just like a man going on a journey. He called his own slaves and turned over his possessions to them.
Mat 25:15 To one he gave five talents; to another, two; and to another, one--to each according to his own ability. Then he went on a journey. Immediately
Mat 25:16 the man who had received five talents went, put them to work, and earned five more.
Mat 25:17 In the same way the man with two earned two more.
Mat 25:18 But the man who had received one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master's money.
Mat 25:19 "After a long time the master of those slaves came and settled accounts with them.
Mat 25:20 The man who had received five talents approached, presented five more talents, and said, 'Master, you gave me five talents. Look, I've earned five more talents.'
Mat 25:21 "His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful slave! You were faithful over a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Share your master's joy!'
Mat 25:22 "Then the man with two talents also approached. He said, 'Master, you gave me two talents. Look, I've earned two more talents.'
Mat 25:23 "His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful slave! You were faithful over a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Share your master's joy!'
Mat 25:24 "Then the man who had received one talent also approached and said, 'Master, I know you. You're a difficult man, reaping where you haven't sown and gathering where you haven't scattered seed.
Mat 25:25 So I was afraid and went off and hid your talent in the ground. Look, you have what is yours.'
Mat 25:26 "But his master replied to him, 'You evil, lazy slave! If you knew that I reap where I haven't sown and gather where I haven't scattered,
Mat 25:27 then you should have deposited my money with the bankers. And when I returned I would have received my money back with interest.
Mat 25:28 "'So take the talent from him and give it to the one who has 10 talents.
Mat 25:29 For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have more than enough. But from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
Mat 25:30 And throw this good-for-nothing slave into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
Mat 25:31 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.
Mat 25:32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
Mat 25:33 He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.
Mat 25:34 Then the King will say to those on His right, 'Come, you who are blessed by My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
Mat 25:35 For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in;
Mat 25:36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you took care of Me; I was in prison and you visited Me.'
Mat 25:37 "Then the righteous will answer Him, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You something to drink?
Mat 25:38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or without clothes and clothe You?
Mat 25:39 When did we see You sick, or in prison, and visit You?'
Mat 25:40 "And the King will answer them, 'I assure you: Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.'
Mat 25:41 Then He will also say to those on the left, 'Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his angels!
Mat 25:42 For I was hungry and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink;
Mat 25:43 I was a stranger and you didn't take Me in; I was naked and you didn't clothe Me, sick and in prison and you didn't take care of Me.'
Mat 25:44 "Then they too will answer, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or without clothes, or sick, or in prison, and not help You?'
Mat 25:45 "Then He will answer them, 'I assure you: Whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me either.'
Mat 25:46 "And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

Be aware, be alert, be ready and don't give a thought more to that day.
