Nowadays we know of 100's of billions of galaxies.
And its theoritically possible there maybe be billions of universes.
Maybe jesu's words should be understood as 'the meek shall ONLY inherit the earth', but the less than meek will inherit cooler stuff!!
what do you think......come on..its worth the two points.
If you have any bible verses that disprove this view.....go ahead.....quote them, ill read them.

The meek can inherit the Earth, the rest of us are going to the stars. Hopefully before religion kills us all.

Inheriting the earth will be a blessing from God. It will become Paradise restored. No one will say, 'I am sick'; Isaiah 33:24. Man will look young, although hundreds of years old, there will be ONE government, ONE religion, Peace forever.

Meek people, are Jesus sheep, who he can teach righteousness.

A person should try to get to paradise, a reward for God's approval, and not be to concerned about what and where life will be in 3 million years, just get there to find out.

1Cor.2:9..'Eye has not seen and ear has not heard, neither have there been conceived in the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those who love him.'

God may have better things planned than new planets.

The meek inheriting the earth is a punishment to us who are above that level. The few of us who are are forced to deal with the meek are the ones being punished.

No because, inheriting the eart would mean a cleansed new earth, without wickedness suffering, death, or sickness, an earth as it was meant to be from the beginning! The earth was created for humans to live on forever and not as some testing place or a temporary place to be on, before going somewhere else, it's purpose was to be inhabited by mankind!

It is all a myth. Do you really think that the meek will inherit the earth. Look around and see the struggle for power and how rich people control everything.

Uh. I'm not really sure but at it's present state, the world is seriously not worth inheriting. But I guess what Jesus meant when He said that was that the humble in spirit shall receive something as great as than the earth.

Rev 22:18 I testify to everyone who hears the prophetic words of this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book.

I know that this verse speaks specifically to the book "The Revelation of Jesus"; it also speaks generally to the entire Bible.

You can take verses out of the Bible, or any other work, and change, twist, or distort them to mean anything you want or you can take heed of what is actually stated and live in its power and the Glory of God.

Free choice at work.

as quickly as Jesus Christ returns and removes all wickedness from the earth at Armageddon, the righteous ones exercising faith in him and doing the will of God will stay to tell the tale Armageddon with protection from God, they're going to stay on earth continuously, God is giving the earth to the meek ones as an inheritance. for the period of Christ's millennial reign, all those of their memorial tombs will pop out on the resurrection, the righteous will acquire existence, the unrighteous acquire judgment on what they do for the period of his reign. in the event that they learn and settle for Jesus as their savior and do the will of God, they to will acquire existence. Then whilst devil is released from the abyss for the suited attempt, all who bypass that attempt and proceed to be on God's part would be blessed with eternal existence on a restored paradise earth. That has constantly been God's objective for mankind and the earth and it has no longer replaced. The Scriptures say that no longer a be conscious uttered forth from God's mouth will return to him with out effects.
