What do people think about intuition-can it be so clouded with desire you can't "see" clearly?

My intuition is usually very strong ( I believe that if we want something to happen with postive intentions behind) it can come to fruition. With Mercury in retrograde all month my intution feels...cloudy. Is what I'm intuitively following, my desire or what is really coming to me? Sometimes they are different - in this case the same. I am concerned that I am not "seeing" clearly because they are the same. I don't want the desire to cloud my vision. The first rule of intuition - Listen to it. Does my intuition tell me that my desire is clouding my vision? No. It tells me to follow it despite the adversity. Any advice?

Intuition Clouded
There is intuiton, belief and fear. Intuition works best when we are in the alpha state or beyond, a state where the brain waves slow down, scientifically measurable.

Yet, our belief can overshadow our intuition. It seems that your belief is that Mercury retrograde does not allow you to think clearly or reach you intuition. Fear can mislead us, too, and creates what we do not want.

In my experience I had repeatedly good business and research success when Mercury was retrograde, since I do not believe that the planets can hinder me to do anything I want to do. My friends, who firmly believe that Mercury may hinder them - are often hindered.

I believe that the planets have an influence on us, the little moon raises the mighty tides. Yet, our will to excell at any time and our trust in ourselves can be stronger than the planets' influence.

When we can reach the alpha state, a state of peace, our intution will come through and we will be guided to the best solution. By our intuition we can potentially know everything, we only have to focus on what we want to know and stay in alpha or beyond. There is only one Consciousness.

The power of intuition can be strong in some; but right at the beginning you are confusing it with belief or hope. No, intuition is a faculty to be honed to perfection, if you already have it. It does not work in all cases. So watch when it is right. May be you intuitively know when money is coming or a guest is arriving or a death is imminent. You never know. You have to find out.

Keep a clear mind so that you allow intuition to make its presence felt. It is not hope, faith or conjecture. It is not a product of your logic or knowledge. So, work with it slowly, confirming everytime. But, never work backwards and start believing 'I thought so'.

History has proved that intutition works very well in combination with hard work. Ask how a scientist found the structure of Benzene, or why another ran naked from his bathtub shouting 'Eureka'!
