As Salaamun Alaykum my dear dear sister. What I normally wear all of the time anyway is perfect for working there. BTW, I really really hate McDonald's now due to my experience there, where they only care about getting drunk and make racial comments about anybody NOT white and NOT Christian. I wear a two piece hijab. You can probably get it at the islamic grocery store near you or even an Indian one. The first piece you slide back to just your forehead and the second starts at or above that piece and goes down to about your collarbone. I wear an abaya over mine, so it isn't even an issue. I highly suggest you switch jobs. McDonald's is Jewish owned and has no respect for most people. I am now a field representative for a marketing company and I am also in college. My husband is a Realtor. Move up, sister. Get out of that common American redneck job.

Sister, its just that you are required to wear proper clothes which does not reveal the skin or shape of your body. For covering the head, you can just wear scarf, any color would do.

Try to find muslim families who practice or visit the islamic center near you and they will surely be happy to guide you more...

Try some al-amira hijabs, they are not flowy and are made of cotton. Good luck.
