It depends on what the bacon is being used for.
typical breakfast bacon I call slices.
Bacon in other recipes like pork and beans I call pieces.

pieces... When I go to the bagel shop I say can I get a few pieces of bacon on the side, she gives me a whole stack, for $1.50. So I bring it home for breakfast, cheaper, & my house dont stink like bacon grease.....incase u wanted 2 no
