Hey people... you don't have to be so serious... this is a fun question, it isn't like i'm that moronic to think i'd die from eating overdued eggs.

The "due date" is a guide. There is nothing certain about it at all. In fact, these expiration dates are so general as to be meaningless. The key thing is to look at the product whether the use by date has come or not. Look and smell to see if it looks at all spoiled. If it doesn't look and smell good, dispose of it no matter what the date is. If it looks and smells good, it is safe to use no matter what the date is.

If they didn't smell in the least bit bad then you will live, I have eaten eggs past their date before now. I always smell them. If you put an egg in a bowl of water and it floats, then don't eat it. (I think it's that way round) if it sinks then it is ok to eat.

Well dear, if they sat out in the direct sun for several weeks and had a rather nasty smell I would say you might be in for trouble. Other wise I don't think you have so much as a cluck to worry about

Eggs do not suddenly go bad on that date. Generally they are good for at least another week, sometimes longer. If in a "warm" fridge though, I wouldn't push it.

no, you will be fine. You might get a little sick if you didn't cook the eggs fully, but, nothing more than a tummy ache

Of course, you could experience major changes, such as your face suddenly deforming, your body suddenly growing to huge proportions, and I would hope that you would live past 5 minutes.

Nope! Especially if you kept them in the fridge... my bf is a dairy farmer and he says you don't have to worry about it if it was cold. Even warm they are fine as long as you cooked them b4 you ate!

No, if they're bad you might get sick. But I think they'll have to be pretty bad, i.e. smelly and such. If you didn't even notice, no problem
