I can only speak for myself, and for those who keep persisting in calling anyone of any faith a "nutter" - why all the interest ?
To me, it all makes sense, it gives my life a purpose, a goal and I believe that one day I may see God. I don't expect anyone else to agree with me and I don't disrespect people who have other ideas on faith or none at all. I know I lot of people confuse the wrongs of the world as the fault of religion and indeed man is at fault for a lot of religious mistakes, but I believe that there is a constant battle between good and evil , love and hatred, truth and falsehood at all levels of existence. One day the truth will be revealed. My view, which I am sharing, please respect me even if you disagree. Thank you.

Christianity is important to me because I am a sinner. I had sunk so low in my life at one point that I ad nowhere to look but up to God. Since I turned by life over to Jesus and was born again I have been so much happier and blessed. Faith in and a relationship with Christ has made me a nicer, more thoughtful mother, sister, daughter, co-worker and friend. To me to be without my Lord would be the absolute worst thing that could happen in my life.

As an unbeliever, I think religion is important in that it's a very relevant cultural phenomenon, and it influences on our lives more than most other cultural features. I wish it weren't important at all, but I have to admit it is.

Religion is important to me because it is my own personal relationship with the Almighty.

It gives me purpose in life & leads me to the Ultimate Truth.

However my faith in God is the center of my life.

Religion is not important to me; I would love to see it disappear entirely. Religion is responsible for most wars, as in today's shocking situation.
I don't believe in God, but in Good.
If we treat people as we would like to be treated ourselves, that would be the best "religion" of all.

Religion is the foundation of what I believe in. Without it, I would falter evrytime someone asks me, "Where would dead people go?" If you are guided by religion, you will have answers for your questions. You feel that we really have a Creator Who will welcome us after we die here on Earth.
