I have always been taught that home is where the heart is. But honestly home is where you make it. My son was raised in the southeast....but has now made his home in Texas. If you feel you made a mistake in moving, then I think you should pray and ask God to help you make the right decision. Good luck in your choice

There's No Place Like Home! But, it seems you made your decision based on how you can best take care of your children. If you are able to provide the needs of yourself and your children, then that's where you belong. Make some friends and get acquainted with your new home.
On the other hand if things are harder for you,you may want to move back, closer to your family and friends.
If you are the soul provider for your family, the popular vote may not be the best.

You know, that is a tough question. Where do we belong? My family moved a lot, so I never felt a bond with anywhere, and now, at 54 years of living I still don't feel a bond. I have lived all over the world, and always just felt like I was just visiting.
I guess home is where you make friends, and for a community.

I think you answered your own question. To quote an old saying 'home is where the heart is' it sounds like your heart is back in virginia. i think that the way to know where yu belong is when you leave that place and no where else seems right, but you ahve to try a couple other places first becuase maybe somewhere else is better. so good for you for trying but it seems like maybe you hould go back where yu can from, you might be happier

home is where your heart is. so wherever you love the most is where home should be. If you aren't happy in Michigan then you should move back to virginia, but be sure that you can find a job, that's very important

Where ever you feel most comfortable. If there are no jobs in Virginia then you don't belong there. Maybe you should move some place else.

home is where your heart is. it can be where you are now. I wish lots of luck on this new adventure. Don't feel you don't belong, in time you will make friends and later look back and things won't seem so bad. Hang in there,.

"Home is where the heart is" Your children and yourself don't sound as though you are really happy with the move so go home. I'm sure you can find employment somewhere there.

'Home is where your heart is...' and your heart isn't in Michigan. I understand because I lived in Wisconsin for two years...and I was very, very homesick the whole time I was there. I finally had to clear out. It wasn't good for me.

You just say it, miss "home" back in West Virginia. Go back where your heart tells you so.
Good luck.
