I cannot think of another verse that would be the biggest reason for disagreement. I can see why they would hate what the Bible teaches.

Do you think so? Is that a verse of disagreement? I guess not. I guess som epeople are too arrogant. They go on thinking that they created themselves. They love to deify themselves. But this verse is self explanatory. Only fools would say so. But look at what God did when He found that no one does Good. He incarnated & redeemed us. He was not here talking in an arrogant way. He was sorry of how people are. Look at the second verse please: -

The LORD looks down from heaven
on the sons of men
to see if there are any who understand,
any who seek God.

Then look at the rest of the psalm
All have turned aside,
they have together become corrupt;
there is no one who does good,
not even one.

4 Will evildoers never learn—
those who devour my people as men eat bread
and who do not call on the LORD ?

5 There they are, overwhelmed with dread,
for God is present in the company of the righteous.

6 You evildoers frustrate the plans of the poor,
but the LORD is their refuge.

7 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion!
When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people,
let Jacob rejoice and Israel be glad

This shows that atheist were so arrogant not God!

Well now, if the bible says something, then it must be true. The bible says it's divinely inspired, so that about covers it, I suppose. If only someone in ancient Greece had been shrewd enough to write the same kinda clever brainwashing stuff about Zeus back in the day, just think! ... Today we'd be worshiping Hera and all the little godlings up on Mount Olympus -- and arguing with those foolish anti-Zeus folks.

Psalms 14 has a good explanation, so does 2 corinthians 4. They are both very good. I'm sure God knew that there would be those who do not accept Him...

How about this passage which gives a better, more spiritual, and less antagonistic answer to your question.

2 Corinthians 4:3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. 4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

A person that is facing financial problems can hate the solution that is provided by responsible control of finances if they choose.
They can even hate the answer, that doesn't make it any less true and accurate.
