Whoever could reasonably stop the killing is responsibile.

Who is this now? The US -- Rice, Bush and company. They could have stopped the killing -- gotten a cease fire from Israel. Yesterday, Hezbollah, thru its representatives in Lebanese parliament said they would agree to a temporary cease fire.

Did Hez. continue firing? Yes, but this is no test of a whether a temporary cease fire would have worked -- there was no agreement, and Israel continued firing also.

What is the American response? To prolong the killing by supporting the country that is taking the largest number of human lives in this conflict - Israel. To increase the killing by sending tons of additional bunker busting and other bombs to Israel -- just last week, in the middle of the conflict.

Israel and US agree Hezbollah can't be destroyed or defeated, just "degraded". The point is to allow the killing and the civilian killing until ... really, who knows what the end game is here?? But people are in the middle, and they die, or survive with their lives destroyed.

The laws and Customs of War require that combatants separate military targets away from noncombatant areas.

Failure to do so is a war crime and any civilian deaths that result on an attack on that military target is the fault of the people who attempted to shield the target with civilians.

Here we have an opportunity for the International Court of Justice to prove that they are something other than a kangaroo court whose rulings are based on European popular opinion. I predict that they will not hold Hezbollah accountable for their blatant violations of the Laws and Customs of War.

And people wonder why the US will never allow our people to be brought before a court that is so obviously politically motivated.

Its Hezbollah and the foolish policies of Lebanese Government along with Syria. Lebanese Government is digging their own grave and crying for support from the world! Stop the support giving to Hezbollah, otherwise hundreds of innocent children and women will be killed.

The problem is that the Lebanese people don't hold themselves responsible for causing the deaths of their fellow countrymen.

jews

can u find other who is responsible

israeli is deliberately killing civilians

note this ratio (source : wikipedia)
523 lebanese civilians were killed while 32 hizbullahs and 8 allied militias were killed (16 civilians every 1 hizbullahs!)
even hizbullah, with their primitive weapon, can make better ratio
33 israeli soldiers - 19 israeli civilians (about 0.6 civilians per a soldier)

Hezbollah, of course. They don't have the guts to stand up and fight like men. They'd rather hide behind women's skirts and the blood of children.
