I've got thick, brown hair, with waves. But it's wavy in a frizzy sort of way. How can I get the waves looking more distinct ?

In a simple way, or can I go to the salon for this ? What's the term for it ? What do I get done ? A product I can use ? I'm taking any suggestions and answers are GREATLY appreciated !

I also have the same kind of hair. A good blunt cut or soft layered cut will go a long way in taming the frizz..once you make an appointment, tell them your specific problem and ask for a beautician who specializes in such hair problems.

They will try to promote their salon products to help master the frizz. Just read the bottle real carefully and go to the store and find a similiar product for much less in cost.

Redken makes the best products for wavy, naturally curly hair. Check out your local salon that offers these products. That's all I've used for years. The if you need to blow dry, get a diffuser and attach it to the end of your hair dryer, or buy one with the attachment in the box...so you get the heat without the air blowing through and creating frizz. Yet, with the products, you can dry naturally and just scrunch.

There are so many defrizzing products on the market that there is no need for friz these days. I like the spray on infusion. It makes my hair shiny & smooth. I have a bit of natural curl and sometimes I don't want it to be curly. I get that most in this hot &
humid weather.

Well u can obviously get it done in a salon... but if ya wanna do it at home use a curling iron and Binge Give it a Swirl curl enhancer (its about $5) at target... its naturally a fizz free controller and it designs tousled curls and waves! and don't forget when uve washed your hair comb it dont brush it. when your hair is wet and you use a brush ur streching your hair fibres and that's bad! and avoid brushing/combing your hair when it is dry! hope this helps!

When you are done washing your hair, dry it with a towel. Don't brush it and Don't use a hairdryer. My sister has the same problem. If you want try a little moose but not much.
