There is no such thing as a miniature Yorkie. Yorkies are a toy breed, they are all small, it is part of their standard.
I would go on www.breeders.net. They list breeders by how close they are to your hometown, which is nice.
However, not all the breeders listed there (or anywhere else) are reputable, so do a lot of research on the breed before you pick the place you want to adopt from. For example: don't buy from anyone who says they have "Mini Yorkies" because, as a breeder, they should know they don't exist, so by saying this they are basically saying that all they care about is advertising and making sure they get your money, and people like that usually don't have the dogs' best interest in heart.
Good luck!

There is no such thing as a miniature Yorkshire terrier. Some of them are just bred to try to make them smaller, but you can get one that weighs two pounds at 12 weeks old and then they hit their growing spurt and get to be normal size. The really small ones can sometimes have horrible health problems. I know of 3 that have had to have liver shunts put in and that cost between $4000 and $6000. Go to www.akc.org and find out what is considered normal for a Yorkie weight and look for one that will be that size. Then look in your local newspapers or a town that is closer that is bigger. Go to the kennel or home and check out the parents and the other dogs they raise. If you raised dogs you know what to look for before you buy from someone. Good luck!

They stopped growing to be via a twelve months. they are 9 years previous now and the female weighs around 6 lbs and my male is 9lbs (far extra than the known)

I have a 2 year old that is 3 pounds, very easy to housebreak, and learned many tricks like roll over, shake hands, turnaround, etc with little training and no treats for a reward, just used his ball.
