That has to be the dumbest oversight I have ever seen! I mean, I'll be the first to admit I'm a perv, but inadvertently talking to underage girls even creeps me out! Yeah, I know, you're going to say that people would just lie about their age, but Yahoo could make it a legal requirement, with penalties for those that are caught lying about it. I dunno, I guess I just like to know who I'm talking to...ya know?

Yea.. I like to know who I am talking to also.. I agree with you.. however I guess since Yahoo is free, we will have to continue weeding out the freaks, pervs, underage, bots, transexuals,bi-sexuals, the really really old geizers, the married but cheating, and the inmates. Or we could just get out more often. Believe me.. I have had some really bad experiences.

In a perfect world you could require it.....but how on earth would you monitor such a thing??? I mean what are the going to add an age police department over at yahoo???? I somehow think that is not going to happen. People don't post their age more often then not because they have something to hide. Most people are so different online than they are in real life because on here they can be anyone they want to be.....I on the otherhand have nothing to hide and I am always straightforward about who I am but as I said before most people are not.
