Nothing will sober you up immediately but the quickest way would be to quit drinking immediately and drink lots of water. Maybe do some excercise to get the heart pumping to get that stuff through you as quickly as possible! I must say if you have been drinking all day long, it's probably going to take awhile!

Well i can say due to law enforcement experience that it would be impossible because the reason people become intoxicated is because the alcohol you consume is attracted to the liquids in your body, thus entering you blood stream, spinal fluid(this is why you fell real good after a few drinks), and brain fluid(make you do dumb stuff). Your liver tries to get all that crap out of you, so you urinate all the time. It gets around 93% to 96% of the alcohol out of your system, but whatever it cant get rid of goes everywhere i just stated. Eating a meal before you drink( don't eat greasy sh*t) will slow it down, but you will still get drunk. Coffee doesn't work either, because the caffeine will give you a shot of adrenaline but that is it. What you will need would be rest ,and Gatorade to replace the salt and electrolytes.

Time is really the only way to sober up... but you can try drinking a glass of water between each beer and trying to stay dehydrated and you can eat something that will soak up the liquid such as bread

try and wake up early and take wo paracetamol/codiene and knock it back with coke. go back to bed for an hour or two. when you awake the tablets should have kicked in and the caffiene in the coke should be working to keep you awake.

once awake drink plenty of water to flush the alcohol out of your system.

what a bunch of a-holes on this site! anyway, as many said, you're not going to be able to immediately sober up. however, if you can stimulate your tactile sense, you may feel more together. the best way to do this is to take a cold shower, jump in the ocean, etc.

good luck.

if you know something important might pop up then keep off the booze in the first place. there is no quick effective way to sober up to deal with important business, your brain is poisoned and until that diminishes, its sods law

Drink lots and lots of water. Hangovers are mostly caused by dehydration.
