It depends what part of the City you are in. The Hungry Horse in Dunvant is nice & good Value for money, as is The ship & Castle in Loughor. The pumpouse down the Marina is nice. Two places to avoid would be 1. The Orange house & 2. The Potter's Wheel, both on the Kingsway. One thing you MUST try is Joe's ice cream palour on St Helens road...WOW...simply the best ice cream ever!

Swansea seriously lacks decent places to eat, there are a few around town (some of the nicer places on Wind Street, WAlter Road and Mumbles are probably your best bet). Depend what you like - it's full of plastic chain pubs and restaurants so if you like fresh local healthy produce you have to pay for it.....and good luck finding somewhere like that in Swansea!!

Forget it pal, it's Wales. Nice food and Swansea? behave yerself. Tesco's is yer best bet!
