re: free coffee
it will cost you the fuel to drive there,
it will cost you time to walk there, also wear and tear on you shoes, and body.
if you send someone else, it will cost you a solid,
think, man think!

Well...if you strip anything down to it's basic nuts and bolts...NOTHING is free. But...sitting by a stream..fishing with your kid on a nice sunny day..talking about things in general is free. (Ya, ya..you bought bait and drove to the river therefore spending money on gas and blah, blah, blah) BUT..it really is the little things..and the things that do cost little or nothing that make a world of difference. So..my answer is yes..all things considered..the best things in life are truly free.

It depends how you define "free" . What is considered free for some means a great cost for others. For example to love someone is said to be free but for many it comes at a price. To love unconditionally is a rare thing but to love with all the material things offered is common. So to answer your questions, "are the best things in life free?" answer: probably not ; and "isn't there a price to pay for everything?" answer: probably yes.

Ha! That's a double-edged question. Yes the best things in life are free, but in the end we always pay a hidden cost that's covered only in the fine print. Life is suffering, love can bite, friendship has strings, etc.

nothing in life is free. you 're sure to pay some kind of price for everything good in your life , at some moment . i heard an interesting thing : you can never be happy and get away with it !

Yes - stunning sunsets, a summer full moon, beautiful waterfalls, thunderstorms, the wind in the poplar trees .... need I go on? The material things in life are not the best things, and they cost.

the only things in life that are free is what you give with your heart or out of grattitude affection , kiss hug a smile, laughter or the air we breathe. These are the best things life has to offer.

well not everything has a price. it is true that happiness usually boils down to how happy you are with yourself, family and friends. Rich people can be far more miserable than you. Material things can make you happy but they dont compare to true happiness within yourself.

personally i think they are free in respect to that you do not use money..you might sacrifice your time to help the less fortunate; at the end of teh day you feel good about yourself and happy that you were able to brighten up someone else's day; now thats free and thats one of teh best thigs in life
