is it wrong to name your pets somthing inappropriute or weird eg 1 of my cats name is spoof.

No I don't really think so just as long as their is a reason or story behind it. But I have a cat named Snickel Fritz, I named her after the cat from the big comfy couch ,I just wanted to prevent her from being named Madline, and I was four.

What's inappropriate about Spoof? Pets are good to give weird or funny names to. However I think it is wrong to give them vulgar or offensive names. There is a difference.

We had a cat that we named Lady Pancakes because our previous two cats had been hit by cars and we just assumed the same would happen to her. Unortunately it was not a car but a haybale that took her life. Lived up to her name I suppose.

Strange pet names are okay. I don't think the cat will mind.
I had a cat I called Fraidy Cat. One of my current cats is named
Kitt-Kitt. I also had a cat called Curious

no issues with names. My cat is named Kitkat.
I have a friend with a cat named satan. I guess he kept attacking all the other cats in the area so she named him something mean.

Sundae the cat and candy the cat...we used to have a cat named Mini and each and all of the individuals on the vets workplace concept that became humorous through fact it became meant to be mini mouse no longer cat. I additionally named a cat after Demona on Gargoyles the comic strip.

human names for animals are great. I have jeff and maggie and really want to call my next one simon. a friend of my parents called their cats fat cat and thin skin. that's cos the both used to get in the xmas trees and only fat cat weighed enough to topple it!
