TETA TONI's CHOCOLATE CAKE
1/2 cup margarine (softened)
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup boiling hot water
In a large bowl cream together margarine, eggs, sugar and cocoa until fluffy. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking soda and salt; add to butter mixture. Beat in milk and vanilla extract.
Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely.
Frost with Strawberry Cool Whip OR
LUCIOUS STRAWBERRY FROSTING:
2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup strawberries; cut up
Whip together heavy cream, confectioners sugar, and salt. Fold in vanilla and cut up strawberries. Frost cooled cake and refrigerate until serving time.

3/4 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup boiling water
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup canola oil
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 9 inch rounds
1. Mix cocoa and boiling water.
2. Mix buttermilk, oil, eggs and vanilla together.
3. Mix dry ingredients together.
4. Mix dry ingredients into buttermilk/oil mixture.
5. Mix in cocoa.
6. Bake at 350° in two greased and floured and parchment lined 9-inch round pans.
7. Bake until tester comes out clean.
STRAWBERRY CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
8 tablespoons butter, at room temperature
3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
3/4 cup fresh ripe strawberries, rinsed, capped and mashed to make 1/2 cup, then drained well
1/2 cup frozen grated unsweetened coconut, thawed
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Meanwhile, prepare the frosting. Combine the cream cheese and butter in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on low speed for about 30 seconds. Stop the machine and add the sugar and drained strawberries. Blend the frosting on low until the sugar has been incorporated. Then raise the speed to medium and mix the frosting another minute or until the frosting lightens and is well combined. Fold in the coconut and pecans.

This delicious chocolate velvet cake is made with cocoa, sour cream, and eggs, along with sugar and other ingredients. Frost this chocolate cake with chocolate, peanut butter, or vanilla frosting.
INGREDIENTS:
2 1/2 cups sifted cake flour
2 cups granulated sugar
6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
2 teaspoons baking soda
4 eggs, well beaten
2 cups sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
PREPARATION:
Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, and baking soda. Combine beaten eggs with sour cream and vanilla. Stir the egg mixture into the dry ingredients. Beat for 3 minutes on medium speed. Pour batter into a greased and floured 9x13-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes, or until a wooden pick or cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.

this is my only choclate cake recipe, no strawberry cream. try the food network tv, and search choclate cake, then keyword strawberry. good luck, this is very good cake recipe hope you try it sometime.

3 eggs, separated
¾ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup butter
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 ½ teaspoon, baking soda
¾ cup strong cold coffee
¾ cup Kahlúa®
Kahlúa® Frosting
Grease & flour two 9 inch cake pans.
Preheat oven to 350† F.
Beat egg whites until frothy; then beat in sugar until stiff peaks form. Set aside. Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg yolks, one at a time. Sift flour, cocoa, baking soda together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with coffee and Kahlúa®: blend well. Fold egg whites into batter. Pour into prepared pans.
Bake 30-35 minutes, or until done. Cool 10 minutes. Invert on wire rack; remove pans. Cool before frosting. Serves 10-12
Kahlúa® Frosting:
In large bowl, cream 6 tablespoons. butter and 1 pound sifted powdered sugar. Add 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder, 3 tablespoons Kahlúa® and 2-3 tablespoons hot coffee; beat until smooth.

My favorites are the chocolate mayonnaise cakes, which use cocoa only. They are light and velvety rich at the same time, and rise perfectly even across the top.
