I also believe that if your soul is searching for spiritual guidance, then the Higher One will definitely touch your heart and lead you to the right path. Religion is a very complex topic, people have their own beliefs. But I always believe that there is a GOD. I'm a Catholic anyway.

I think that if you need spiritual guidance you should consult God. you should not choose a religion, but better spirituality. this does not need organized religion. you can believe in God and if you want be christian that is great. but you need to find these things and decide what you think personally and not let anyone tell you what you should think. good luck
blessed be.

Just Keep the Seven Noahide Laws

“Moses relayed [to the Jews] G-d’s commandment, that they persuade all who enter this world to accept the commandments which pertain to the descendants of Noah” (Maimonides, Laws of Kings 8:10).

Every creation, and certainly every person, was created by G-d for a specific purpose. Aside for every person’s unique, personal mission, there are general rules by which every person must abide. The Jew, G-d’s ambassador to this world, was commanded to fulfill 613 commandments – Mitzvot which are intended to suffuse this material world with Divine Energy in preparation for the Messianic Era. It is the task of the non-Jew to create a stable environment where the G-dly Light can rest. For this purpose G-d gave humanity seven universal laws; basic laws which ensure that the world remains a civilized society, a world which can be transformed (through Torah and Mitzvot) into a vehicle for G-dliness.

It is the task of the non-Jew to create a stable environment where the G-dly Light can rest

Six of these laws were commanded to Adam and Eve, and the seventh one, the prohibition against eating a limb which was severed from a live animal, was given to Noah – as this law was unnecessary from Creation until after the Flood when all humankind was vegetarian (see Genesis 1:29, 9:3).

These seven laws are called the “Seven Noachide Laws,” for they are mandatory for all descendants of Noah, the progenitor of modern humanity.

Judaism does not encourage non-Jews to convert to Judaism, for we believe that a non-Jew who follows his laws can lead a fulfilling spiritual life. In fact, a non-Jew who studies and observes the Noachide Commandments can attain a spiritual level superior to the High Priest who enters the Holy of Holies on Yom Kippur (Talmud, Babba Kamma 38a).

These are the Seven Laws:

1. Not to worship idols.
2. Not to blaspheme.
3. Not to murder.
4. Not to steal.
5. Not to be involved in illicit sexual behavior (adultery, incest, homosexuality, etc.).
6. Not to eat the limb of a living creature [not to be cruel to animals].
7. To establish courts of justice to enforce these laws.

Aside for these commandments, a non-Jew may choose to enhance his relationship with G-d by observing any of the 613 mitzvot. There are, however, certain mitzvot which a non-Jew is not supposed to observe: observing the Shabbat or Jewish holidays; studying parts of the Torah which do not apply to the Noachide’s service of G-d; writing a Torah scroll, Tefillin or Mezuzah; wearing Tefillin; affixing a mezuzah.

You shouldn't pick a religion, a religion will pick you! If you go to several different churches you will automatically feel which one is the "right"one for you, religion is very personal.

Choose a religion which focuses on God and not on looking righteous in front of men. Some people attend many church to find where they fit. I hope when you choose, it would not be for convenience. Rather, choose a religion where you can get to know God. Seek and you shall find.

Religion is so personal; nobody can just say "this religion is right for you". Try them out-go to church, temple, a buddhist temple. Read up on traditions and customs. You will find the right religion for you.

I would suggest for you to attend your local religious organizations and see if you like what you see or feel. If you don't like it, then I would suggest finding your own spiritual path without a religion. I belong to a religion, and trust me, I am very very confused.
